The Center for Hope and Healing
Counseling for individuals, couples, and families.
The Center for Hope and Healing is a nonprofit counseling center that has been supporting families in Southern California since 1991.
We provide individual, child, and family psychotherapy using a mindful focus to facilitate healing and positive change. Using Attachment Theory as the basis for our philosophy in treatment, we assist our clients in learning and strengthening their inner resources. Whether your focus is on healing from childhood trauma or a sudden life-changing event now, the Center for Hope and Healing will support you in regaining balance in life.
Our intention is to support individuals and families in creating healthy relationships and living in healthy communities.
We are overseen by a supportive team of Board of Directors: Board President Mike Polek, Secretary Susan Wellborn, CFO Don Lanworthy, Dave Merrell, and Kelley Fraser.
Our staff includes Executive Director Elana Christiansen, Assistant Executive Director Kurt Christiansen, Clinical Director Linda Franco, Licensed Therapist Ana Adal, MFT Intern Greg Woodhill, MFT Trainee Craig Cassidy, and MFT Trainee Alyssa Nobriga.
